Charity is a core value of NextPage.  It is a critical component of our DNA.  We have selected a few charities whose mission we value and we support them on a regular basis.  We try to downplay our efforts as much as we can and never expect anything in return.

Recently we were honored with a very special Valentine’s Day celebration. The children of Operation Breakthrough entertained the NextPage team with songs they have practiced especially for that day.  Then the NextPage team was treated by to a wonderful luncheon spread prepard by the volunteers and staff of Operation Breakthrough. It’s their way of saying thank you to NextPage for the support that the company has provided for over 15 years.

Gina Danner, the NextPage CEO shared this thought, “We should be the ones thanking them for bringing all of that energy and joy into our building. It is one of my favorite days of the year.”

The kids that visited us live below the federal poverty guidelines; most far below. Roughtly 25% of the children served by Operation Breakthrough are homeless or near homeless, living in battered women’s shelters or transitional living programs. But most have no idea they’re poor. They’re quick to smile, to hug, and they look forward to a new day no matter what happened yesterday.

As you may or may not know, our company rebranded last year and part of that process was crafting our brand promise to deliver more than print. We came up with many ways that we can deliver MORE. We also defined critical brand VALUES.  One of those key values is charity;  giving to our community. It is a part of who we are and we it seriously.
