Watch Your Garden Grow with a Multi-Channel Marketing Program
For our Spring 2018 multi-channel marketing campaign we delivered a little bit of sunny cheer to our recipients – a die cut flower box and an arrangement of flowers with a personalized sign. Next, we invited recipients to take pictures of their “garden” and post on social media to receive tickets to Powell Gardens. We engaged our recipients with not only the package that included the flower box, flowers, posting instructions and letter, but we also sent a follow up email, re-posted images and promoted through social media, shot a video, created this landing page, and purchased digital ads using a custom audience.
Grow NextPage Video and Contest
Video continues to be a driving force in marketing, and should be part of any multi-channel campaign whenever possible. For this video, we wanted to make sure the recipients had detailed instructions on how to assemble the flower box. The video also explained how to post their pictures using our hashtag and how to tag Powell Gardens to social media. For each tagged post recipients received free admission tickets to Powell Gardens. This is important for a number of reasons.
- Sharing and the usage of hashtags will extend visibility beyond your recipient, but to their contacts as well.
- Providing a valuable incentive will ensure posting and sharing, as well as create goodwill with your marketing partner and the winner.
- Sending the “prize” creates another touch point.
