Ask a small business today if its marketing efforts are paying off, and you might be surprised by the answer. According to Infusionsoft’s “2017 Small Business Marketing Trends Report,” nearly 47 percent of small business owners don’t know if their marketing efforts are effective, while 10 percent know they aren’t. But don’t fear, they still believe in the practice. The report, which surveyed 1,009 small business owners from across the country, shows that 31 percent are dedicated to having marketing campaigns drive sales this year, while 23 percent aim to use them to retain and re-engage the customers they have.
