If you know me, you know I love learning more about the manufacturing process. In fact, one of my favorite TV shows is, “How’s It Made.” Several years ago I was given the opportunity to visit a paper mill and actually got to see paper being manufactured.

It is so fascinating to learn that something as simple as “a piece of paper” starts with water, wood pulp and recycled paper. When I saw the video below from Mohawk, a leading paper manufacturer, I watched it several times and then wanted to share it with our customers and friends.

So often, the printed page garners attention because of its design, its color and its content. At NextPage we have been in the industry for almost three decades. We have an all-encompassing appreciation for every part of the printing process. That one foundational component of the final product, the paper, both inspires and defines every printed piece.

Enjoy the video presented by Mohawk. This company has been fine-tuning the manufacturing process of paper since 1931. We hope you enjoy this video as much as we did.
